Fruit Rabdi is a delight to the taste buds – the sweetness of rabdi topped on fresh fruits makes it a perfect dessert for any feast. Here’s the recipe of this flavorsome and luscious sweet dish – Fruit Rabdi!

Fruit RabdiIngredients :

  • Milk – 1 Litre
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Few strands of saffron (Kesar)
  • Apple (peeled and cut)- 1 cup
  • Mango pieces – 1 cup
  • Grapes – 1 cup
  • Pomegranate(anar) – 1 cup
  • Chiku (peeled and cut) – 1 cup
  • Silver foil (Optional)

Servings: 3-4 persons

Preparation Time: 90 mins


Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan or kadhai.

Once it is boiled, keep it on low flame and keep stirring in between till quantity of milk  reduces to one fourth.

Switch off the heat.

Add sugar and kesar, and mix well. Then transfer the rabdi into a bowl. Decorate with silver foil(optional) and  refrigerate.

For serving, keep fruits on a serving bowl and top it up with rabdi.

Note: You can use fruits as per your liking and availability.
