Summer is a perfect time to wallow in the goodness of moreish Watermelon Juice. It is naturally hydrating due to its high water content and is a low-fat fruit juice. Like all fruit juices, it has a lot of health benefits and it boosts the immune system. This is a very quick recipe which is also a great beverage option for serving to your guests.
- Water melon(red portion only) cut into pieces in a medium sized bowl – Around 2 cups
- Pepper powder (Optional) to taste
- Chaat Masala(Optional) to taste
Servings: 1 person
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Put the cut pieces of water melon in a muslin cloth. Squeeze the juice through muslin cloth into glass/container as needed.
Ideally, the above method is best to extract maximum juice quickly but you can also use a juicer to extract the juice if you like.
Watermelon juice is best relished in pure form but if you prefer some spice, you can add little pepper powder and chaat masala to the juice.
Refrigerate and serve chilled Watermelon Juice. Add crushed ice if required.
