The second dish from our kitchen this week is Poha which is a very common breakfast item in India. It is cooked in various ways across households and if you go to a restaurant for buffet breakfast, you are very likely to find it on the menu. Poha is flattened/beaten rice and is an easily digestible form of raw rice. So much can be done with it that it can actually be referred to as a convenience food.
